Apple Tarts with Crumb Topping

• Easy fall dessert  recipe with apples • Made in a muffin tin • Gluten free (made   with blended oats)

Blend oats in a food processor or blender. Pulse with butter, brown sugar & salt.

Press crust mixture into a lined muffin tin. Bake for 7 minutes.

Slice apples. Place in a bowl & microwave until soft. Toss with cinnamon & nutmeg.

Layer apples inside the par-baked tart crusts.

Make crumb topping: mix reserved oat flour, brown sugar & butter.

Sprinkle topping over tarts & bake until golden brown.
